Manly Beach
I’ve just uploaded some photos I took yesterday from Manly Beach. Things to note include the vast number of boats in the first few photos: those photos were taken from Sydney Heads, which is the point at which Sydney Harbour meets the Pacific Ocean. The boats were all there to await the return of Jessica Watson, who was sailing into Sydney Harbour yesterday after completing her around-the-world adventure.
The Sydney Heads part of the ferry journey from Circular Quay to Manly is choppy, even in a large ferry. I would therefore like to draw your attention to the photo of the weirdos in what is essentially a rowing boat. I assume they’re now at the bottom of the harbour.
