About

Since achieving a BSc Computing with distinction in 2006 I have worked on several large and complex software implementation projects in the British, Australian, and New Zealand higher education sectors, specialising in SITS:Vision implementation and development.

In addition to creating solution designs and developing and configuring software, my roles have expanded to include training and mentoring for junior staff, the creation and enforcement of development guidelines, and influence over the migration of data from legacy systems.

  • SITS:Vision: extensive knowledge of the product’s technical requirements and software stack, all components of the application, and the underlying data model.

Provide consultancy services for The University of Waikato during their transition from JadeSMS to SITS:Vision - their newly selected student management system. Approximately 50% of capacity spent training and mentoring junior technical analysts, with remaining time spent on solution design, development, and data migration.
